Background
China Agricultural Economic Review (CAER) is delighted to announce its fourth annual conference, which is being organized by the CAER editorial office and International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). CAER is an academic journal published by Emerald in association with China Agricultural University and Chinese Association of Agricultural Economists, and has been accredited for SSCI (Social Science Citation Index) and SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded). The theme of 2012 conference is ‘Agricultural and Rural Development in China: Opportunities and Challenges’, aiming to explore the related issues and countermeasures of agricultural and rural development in both China and the rest of the world. Internationally renowned scholars and policy makers will be brought together to present and discuss their insights and suggestions.
